I know, i've tried a few different things to stop them auto posting/registering but nothing has worked upto now. I think i may have to try manual activation of forum memberships for a little while
The spambots sucks, that's true. At the moment the moderators & admins have to ban them manually which is a quite annoying task but at the moment there seems to be no way to get rid of them. I already managed a few forums by using phpbb (our board software; as you can see on the very bottom of the page) and I'll keep my eyes open for any solutions.
